Abstract

The purposes of this research were: 1) to study parents’ needs regarding the management of Child Development Centers under Khok Tum Subdistrict Municipality, Lopburi Province; and 2) to compare parents’ needs regarding the management of these centers, classified by gender, educational level, and occupation of the parents.

The sample consisted of 97 parents from Child Development Centers under Khok Tum Subdistrict Municipality, Lopburi Province, in the academic year 2025. The sample size was determined using the Krejcie and Morgan table, and simple random sampling was employed. The research instrument was a five-point rating scale questionnaire, with an Index of Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) ranging from 0.67 to 1.00 and a reliability coefficient of 0.87. The statistics used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test.

The research findings were as follows:

Overall, parents’ needs regarding the management of Child Development Centers were at a high level.
The comparison of parents’ needs classified by gender showed no statistically significant differences, both overall and in each aspect.
The comparison of parents’ needs classified by educational level showed no statistically significant differences, both overall and in each aspect.
The comparison of parents’ needs classified by occupation showed no statistically significant differences, both overall and in each aspect.
