Abstract

This research aimed (1) to investigate the level of transformational leadership in management from the executive Committees of Sunday Buddhist Study Centers in Chiang Rai Province, (2) to study the level of management participation from the executive Committees of Sunday Buddhist Study Centers in Chiang Rai Province and (3) to compare the level of transformational leadership and management participation from the executive Committees of Sunday Buddhist Study Centers in Chiang Rai Province classified by the size of the Sunday Buddhist Study Centers. The sample group consisted of 306 individuals. The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis statistics used included the arithmetic mean, standard deviation (S.D.), and F-test (One-way ANOVA).

The research finding were as follows:

The overall level and in each individual aspects of the transformational leadership in the management of the executive Committees were rated at a high level.
The overall level and in each individual aspects of the management participation of the Administrative Committees were also rated at a high level.

3. The comparison of the transformational leadership and management participation of the executive Committees, when classified by the size of the Sunday Buddhist Study Centers, showed a statistically significant difference overall at the 0.01 level.
