Abstract

การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงบรรยาย (Descriptive Research) มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบัน สภาพที่พึงประสงค์ และความต้องการจำเป็นในการพัฒนาการบริหารงานแนะแนวตามแนวคิดการตั้งเป้าหมายของโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาขนาดกลาง ในสหวิทยาเขตพระนอนจักรสีห์ ประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาจำนวน 14 คน ข้าราชการครู/บุคลากรทางการศึกษาจำนวน 56 คน ในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาขนาดกลาง ในสหวิทยาเขตพระนอนจักรสีห์ รวมทั้งสิ้น 70 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล  ได้แก่ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ยเลขคณิต ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และดัชนีความต้องการจำเป็น (PNI modified)  

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า สภาพปัจจุบันของการพัฒนาการบริหารงานแนะแนวตามแนวคิดการตั้งเป้าหมายในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก สภาพที่พึงประสงค์ของการพัฒนาการบริหารงานแนะแนวตามแนวคิดการตั้งเป้าหมายในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด และความต้องการจำเป็นในการพัฒนาการบริหารงานแนะแนวตามแนวคิดการตั้งเป้าหมายในภาพรวม พบว่า ด้านที่มีความต้องการจำเป็นในการพัฒนาที่สูงสุด คือ ด้านข้อมูล (PNI modified = 0.262)รองลงมา ด้านการให้คำปรึกษา (PNI modified = 0.252) ด้านการติดตามและประเมินผล (PNI modified = 0.232) ด้านสารสนเทศ (PNI modified = 0.201) และด้านการจัดวางตัวบุคคล      (PNI modified = 0.190) ตามลำดับ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้นำไปสู่การสังเคราะห์องค์ความรู้ใหม่เกี่ยวกับการพัฒนาการบริหารงานแนะแนวตามแนวคิดการตั้งเป้าหมายในบริบทของโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาขนาดกลาง ซึ่งชี้ให้เห็นว่า การแนะแนวเชิงเป้าหมายไม่อาจจำกัดอยู่เพียงในรูปแบบของการให้คำแนะนำแบบรายบุคคล แต่ต้องอาศัย ระบบบริหารจัดการข้อมูล การวางเป้าหมาย การติดตามผล  และการจัดสภาพแวดล้อมทางเลือก ที่ทำงานอย่างบูรณาการและมีเป้าหมายร่วมกันอย่างแท้จริง
