Abstract

This article aims to examine the relationship between Thai public administration in a democratic system and the political sector within the framework. The political sector (politicians and policymakers) and the public administration system (civil servants and government agencies) reflect the diverse context of Thai politics. These two entities are interconnected and collaborate to develop the nation. However, this relationship often encounters challenges and opportunities for improvement to build a sustainable new political society. Differences in political ideologies and perspectives have given rise to various political factions and divisions. Thai politics has been continuously evolving over time, advancing alongside the modern world—a world characterized by change and competition. Politicians play a vital role in the country’s development, working in tandem with the public administration system, which acts as the lifeblood of national governance, enabling the country to remain competitive and adapt to global challenges. If a country lacks adaptability and competitiveness, it will inevitably face persistent challenges. Therefore, the political and administrative systems must develop in parallel to eliminate gaps, inefficiencies, weaknesses, and stagnation.
