Abstract

Research subject: Integrating Pop Culture and Community-based Cultural Landscape in Social Studies Learning Management to Promote Spatial Thinking Skill of High School Students at Suksasongkhro Chiangmai. There are two objectives: 1) to create a social studies learning management plan that Integrating Pop Culture and Community-based Cultural Landscape in Social Studies Learning Management to Promote Spatial Thinking Skill of High School Students at Suksasongkhro Chiangmai. 2) to Promote Spatial Thinking Skill of High School Students at Suksasongkhro Chiangmai by using the AAARA area-based learning cycle. The target group is 24 students in Mathayom 5/1. Suksasongkhro Chiangmai School, studying courses Social (ส32102) in the second semester of the academic year 2022, There were 32 students. The research tools: were the learning management plan in the social studies subject (Sor 32102), Mathayom 5, learning unit 2. changes in physical characteristics and Learning Unit 3: Disasters, 3 plans and the spatial thinking skills assessment. Data were analyzed by statistics, mean, standard deviation and percentage.


The results showed that 1) the evaluation of the quality of the learning management plans by all 3 experts found that all 3 plans were of very good quality and could be applied to the target group, and 2) the effect of promoting spatial thinking skills. Through social studies learning management that Integrating Pop Culture and Community-based Cultural Landscape in all 4 aspects, the evaluation came out at a very good level. It was found that the students liked social studies learning management that Integrating Pop Culture and Community-based Cultural Landscape.
