Management of Social Studies Based on Futurology Approach to Promote Sustainable Citizenship for Junior high School Students, Hor Pra School

Abstract

Research title is Management of Social Studies Based on Futurology Approach to Promote Sustainable Citizenship for Junior high School Students, Hor Pra School The objectives are 1) design a learning management based on Futurology to promote sustainable citizenship and 2) study the results of a based on Futurology to promote sustainable citizenship. In this research, the researcher conducted action research and The sample group consisted of 28 students in grade 2/1, Hor Pra School. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics for quantitative data. and a descriptive lecture for qualitative data. The research results can be summarized as follows.

1. The researcher has designed a total of 2 learning management plans, designed in 4 teaching steps, called "4Future Social Studies Teaching Approach", with the teaching steps as step 1, Future Phenomenon, step 2, Future Vision, Step 3, Futuristic Operations, and Step 4, Futuristic Reflection. When used in learning management by taking it as part of all 2 learning management plans, It appears that the experts assessed that was found that they were suitable for learning management plan at a high level.


2. The results of the study of the use of learning plans that use the concept of Based on Futurology to promote sustainable citizenship. It was found that after the researcher found the sample group of students, on average, had the highest level of sustainable citizenship in two aspects: knowledge (= 4.27, SD = 0.18) and skills (= 4.04, SD = 0.23), and sustainable citizenship at a high level in two aspects: Attitude ( = 3.87, SD = 0.27)  and the value aspect ( = 3.81, SD = 0.30).
