Costs and Returns on Products from Thai-Yuan Woven Fabric of Thai-Yuan Cultural Center in Ban Dong Pradok, Samor khae subdistrict, Mueang District, Phitsanulok Province

Abstract

        The purposes of this research were to investigate the costs and returns on products from Thai-Yuan woven fabric of Thai-Yuan cultural center in Ban Dong Pradok, Samor khae subdistrict, Mueang District, Phitsanulok Province. The sample size is 15 samples who are chairman, committee, and members of the Thai-Yuancultural center by studying and collecting using interviews for collecting the cost of investment, cost in production, and revenue from selling products in 4 types of ThaiYuan woven fabrics; Lai Ta Mu Jok Dok sarong, Siew patterned sarong, Eyeliner pattern salong, and striped sarong. Cost and return were analyzed by using Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period (PB) using the descriptive analysis to present information. The research found that production costs compose of investment at the beginning were 662,000 baht. The cost of production was 749,248 baht that including direct material cost, direct labor cost, and production expense. The period of the project is 10 years. The Thai-Yuan woven fabric has a net present value (NPV) was 3,942,787.91 baht at a percentage of the discount rate of 6.220 that and internal rate of return (IRR) was 74.29 and the payback period was 1 year 187 days that worth for investment.
