The objectives of this research were 1) to study the potential of public transportation services , and 2) to study problems and obstacles in public transportation services , 3) to make policy recommendations for the development of transportation systems. public to be effective It is a quantitative and qualitative research. The sample consisted of 150 people. The tools used for data collection were questionnaires and interview forms. Analyze the data by using quantitative statistics. frequency distribution , mean, standard deviation and content analysis The results showed that 1) To study the potential of public transport services, including facilities and safety at a high level followed by measures to prevent covids at a high level The price is at a high level. The service process is at a high level.environmental conditions of the bus station in terms of personnel, it was at a moderate level. In terms of service , the bus service is at a moderate level. and in terms of ticket sales channels 2) To study the problems and obstacles in the public transport service,it was found that the overall level was at a high level.and when considering each aspect at a high level , namely price , service process Facilities and safety The environment of the bus station and measures to prevent covid and when considering each aspect,it was at a moderate level, namely,the service of bus services.for ticket sales channels and personnel respectively because the passenger terminalPhitsanulok Province No. 1 has a good control and care in various aspects. It can accommodate passengers both during weekdays and during festivals to make service users and staff satisfied. 3) To make policy recommendations to develop an efficient public tran sport system 1. From the study found that the facilities still need to improve From those who use the service is not comfortable enough from the study found that the bus station staff Speak sweetly, but the service is not very good. Therefore , service providers and related staff must provide training in service expectations in using public transport. Users have opinions. I want each bus trip to be punctual. Therefore , the executives , who are related parties, should arrange a meeting about the operation to meet the needs of the service users.
