Guideline of Activities Development of Culture Touring Sites in Samut Songkhram Province

Abstract

          The objectives of this research were to study the characteristics of co mmunity participation in cultural tourism activities and to find the guideli nes of community participation in cultural tourism activities. A research p opulation was composed of tourists and those concerned in cultural opera tions in 10 touring sites in Samut Songkhram province, which operated cul turing activities continuously. In a total of representative touring sites in q ualitative research with 72 samples. Research results were obtained by des criptive statistics, content analysis, and case studies. The results showed th at tourists’ opinions on the nature of the event as a whole at a high level. C onsidering the nature of activities that visitors to experience real life in the community.   The highest level is for impressive folk show in each attractio n, and food and service that are not generally exposed.  For management a ctivities of cultural tourism,   the overall importance should perform many activity aspects that should be a priority, and should include the top five ac tivities that are adopting the vision and direction of travel to store informa tion or to view the event clearly, and to provide training in foreign  langua ges.
