Skills in the world of change in the 21st Century the challenges of student development

Abstract

            The objective of this study is to  1) study important skills for                     learning in the 21st century that are necessary and important for                 the development of education, and 2) study the characteristics and           skills of new future students in the development of awareness of                 nature and the environment. Consciousness of citizenship and sustainability for society in the future this research uses quantitative            and qualitative research methods as follows. 1) quantitative research           data collection with 4 faculty students 1,319 people analyze the findings by descriptive statistics and 2) qualitative studies. By documentary research and interviewing executives and lecturers of Northern College With a semi-structured interview form (Semi-structure Interview) amount 10 persons. Analyze the qualitative data by content analysis and synthesis.

        The results of the research are as follows : 1. Development of learning skills in the 21st century that is necessary and important for students.        It consists of the following important skills : (1) learning and innovation skills (2) information skills, media and technology (3) life and career skills. 2. Characteristics and skills of students of the new future Must develop awareness of nature and the environment. Consciousness towards citizenship and sustainability for the society in the future is 5 minds.                       The main characteristics for the future consist of 1) expert mind      2) synthetic knowledge 3) creative mind 4) respect mind and 5) ethical mind.
