Zhuang-Thai in the Dimension of Resident: Shared Memory from the Site Visit of Thai-Chinese Joint Culture

Abstract

This article has gathered, processed, and concluded the analysis of models and elements of Tai house of Tai-Tai-Thai nations. The study of Thai academics from 1966 to nowadays both Thailand and Shan State border of Myanmar continued to Dehong (Western  China) and Yunnan (Southern China), and the notice of the researcher from the site visit of Thai-Chinese joint culture on Zhuang house and Tai house would be divided into 3 parts; Part 1: Tai-Tai-Thai house in both Thailand and China, elements of Tai house especially in the North of Thailand; Part 2: Zhuang house from the site visit of Thai-Chinese joint culture in Yunnan and Guangxi; and Part 3: Comparison of Tai house and Zhuang house through the trace of the past “shared memory” in the “local residence” of Zhuang-Thai nations.

          The comparison of Tai house and Zhuang house through the trace of the “shared memory” of language for the elements of the house, shape, elements of the building, and facilitation for the related tradition that indicated the national relation of Zhuang-Thai through the local architecture and sparked the humanities researchers both Thai and Chinese should collaborate in the in-depth and integrative research for the academic benefit and the good relation of both countries.
