จินตทัศน์ข้อมูล เป็นการนำเสนอข้อมูลเชิงภาพ ช่วยให้สามารถแสดงข้อมูลในปริมาณมากและมีความซับซ้อนให้เข้าใจง่ายขึ้น ช่วยในการคาดคะเนสิ่งที่อาจจะเกิดขึ้นในอนาคต และช่วยในการรับรู้ได้ดียิ่งขึ้น การจินตทัศน์ข้อมูลส่วนใหญ่จะถูกออกแบบมาในรูปแบบแผนภูมิแท่ง แผนภูมิเส้น แผนผัง แผนภูมิการกระจาย กราฟเชิงตอบสนอง แผนที่ เครือข่าย และในรูปแบบอื่น ๆ ประโยชน์ของการจินตทัศน์ข้อมูลทำให้ข้อมูลมีความน่าสนใจขึ้น เข้าใจง่าย เห็นภาพได้ชัดเจน ง่ายต่อการจดจำ และสร้างมูลค่าให้กับข้อมูล ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งที่มีความสำคัญมากในยุคดิจิทัลที่มีข้อมูลมหาศาล บทความวิชาการนี้นำเสนอเกี่ยวกับความหมายของจินตทัศน์ข้อมูล รูปแบบความสัมพันธ์ของข้อมูล ประเภทของแผนภูมิที่ใช้ในการจินตทัศน์ข้อมูล และกระบวนการจินตทัศน์ข้อมูล เพื่อสร้างความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับการจินตทัศน์ข้อมูลได้ดียิ่งขึ้น
