About the Journal
- The Interdisciplinary Journal of Humanities Studies is an academic journal with the objective of promoting education, research, and the publication of innovative research papers and academic articles. The journal serves as a platform for exchanging knowledge, opinions, and suggestions, fostering diversity without limiting ideas, ideologies, or perspectives. It focuses on controversial issues in society, addressing past, present, and future problems, as well as global phenomena, with the aim of finding peaceful and sustainable solutions to societal problems. The journal is a medium for presenting these discussions to the public, researchers, scholars, professors, students, and interested individuals.
The journal emphasizes the use of knowledge from various disciplines, integrating them for analysis, research, and synthesis to create new knowledge relevant to society or humanity in various areas. It explores human conditions from birth to death, such as history, evolution, and human adaptation to various environments, cultural studies, linguistics, literature, history, family, politics, archaeology, philosophy, religion, folklore, music, visual arts, communication, information science, performing arts, tourism, library science, anthropology, and more.

Articles published in the journal undergo review by at least 2-3 qualified experts. The Journal accepts articles in both Thai and English and considers original submissions from all authors, including critical articles. The submitted works must not have been previously published or under review for publication in another journal. Authors must strictly follow the submission guidelines for academic or research articles, including proper referencing in accordance with the journal’s standards.

The opinions and comments presented in the articles of the journal are the responsibility of the authors and do not reflect the views of the editorial board. The editorial board does not claim copyright over the content but allows citation with proper attribution.

The journal currently does not charge any publication fees at any stage.
Publication Schedule
The journal has been in operation since 2025 and began publishing in electronic format, available exclusively online from 2025, with ISSN 3057-1693 (Online). The journal has a policy of completing the article review process within 30 days and publishing articles immediately upon completion of the review process.
The journal publishes three issues per year as follows:
- Issue 1: January – April
- Issue 2: May – September
- Issue 3: October – December
The journal accepts articles in both Thai and English. Articles considered for publication should address relevant issues in society, controversial matters, or debates, and must offer practical benefits. Articles may present new perspectives, new knowledge, or reinterpret existing knowledge in a new way. They must not have been published elsewhere or be under review for publication in any other journal.
Types of Published Works in the Journal
To submit an article, it must comply with the journal’s prescribed format and undergo review by experts in the relevant field before publication. The journal accepts the following four types of articles:

Academic Articles
These are articles that analyze, critique, or propose new ideas, offering a scholarly analysis of issues, surveying literature, and systematically analyzing topics to support and conclude findings. These articles present new theories, interpretations, or novel social facts for readers. -
Research Articles
These articles present the results of systematic research and meet the objectives of the study. The article should include a title, author details, abstract, and content, including an introduction, research methods, literature review, objectives, hypothesis (if any), research scope, methodology, research findings, conclusion, recommendations, and bibliography. -
Review Articles
These are articles that compile knowledge on a current topic, analyzing, synthesizing, comparing, and/or critiquing it to form new insights. The article includes an introduction, content, critique, conclusion, and bibliography. -
Book Reviews
These are articles that present a summary and provide opinions on a specific book, aiming to introduce it to readers. The review includes complete bibliographic details of the book, including its type, scope, unique features, or advantages. The review also assesses the book’s value, offering a reasoned opinion on its worth and suitability for certain readers, comparing it to similar books. The reviewer should have expertise in the relevant field and provide their name or information to support the credibility of the review.
