The Effects of Creative Art Activities Using Paper to Develop The Fine Motor Skills of Level 3 Preschool Children

Abstract
The objective of this research was to study the effects of paper creative art activities to develop the fine motor skills of preschool, level 3. The One-Group Pretest-Posttest Research Design was used in the study. The sample group consisted of 24 level 3 preschool children at Ban Saikhao Community School in Wangsaphung District, Loei Province who were selected through a cluster random sampling during the second semester of the 2021 academic year. Research instruments included 1) 15 experience plans paper creative art activities to develop the children’s fine motor skills which show a mean feasibility of 4.85 and 2) a skill test on the fine motor skills of the children. The collected data were analyzed by means of arithmetic mean, standard deviation and a t-test.
The findings show that the children’s ability to use the fine motor of preschool, acquired through the paper creative art activities was significantly higher than before the acquired activities at the.01 level of significance.
