Needs for the Management of Private Music Schools in Chiang Mai Province

Abstract
The objective of this research was: 1) to study the current situation and the desirable conditions in the management of private music schools in chiang mai province and 2) to study the needs for the management of private music schools in chiang mai province. province the population of this research consisted of 4 school administrators, 4 school owners, 43 teachers and 6 assistants from 4 private music schools in chiang mai province. The instruments used for collecting data were a 5-level rating scale questionnaire and open-ended question with 6 aspect suggestions. The statistics used data analysis comprised frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Modified Priority Needs index (PNI Modified Index).
The research results were found that 1) The current situation in the management of private music schools in chiang mai province, in overall, was rated at a high level, when considering in each aspect, it was found that the aspect with the highest average was leadership, followed by the organizational culture. The aspect with the lowest average was Knowledge management, and the desirable conditions the management of private music schools in chiang mai province, in overall, was rated at a highest level, when considering in each aspect, it was found that the aspect with the highest average was leadership, followed by operational processes, the aspect with the lowest average was Knowledge management. 2) Needs for the management of private music schools in chiang mai province, arranging according to the most importance were as follows: 2.1) Information technology management 2.2) Operational processes 2.3) Knowledge Management 2.4) Human Resources Management2.5) organizational culture 2.6) leadership
