THE MANAGEMENT GUIDELINES OF HEALTH TOURISM WITH PEOPLE’S BICYCLES IN PHANG NGA PROVINCE

Abstract

This mixed-methods research aims to investigate 1) the management of health tourism with people’s bicycles in Phang Nga province, 2) the attitudes towards the management of health tourism with people’s bicycles in Phang Nga province, and 3) the guidelines of management of health tourism with people’s bicycles in Phang Nga province. The content analysis in this research was based on the qualitative data collected from the separate in-depth interviews with 6 participants using purposive sampling technique. The quantitative data was drawn from the questionnaires answered by 130 members of the Cycling Club for Health in Phang Nga province and then analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

The findings of the study suggest that the levels of the opinions towards the general management of bicycle tourism in Phang Nga province is above average The questionnaires reveal that the participants are in agreement with Facilities and Infrastructure the most followed by Natural Features Services Built Amenities Transport Services while the least items in agreement are Entertainment and Activities and Sport
