The Study Of Competencies Required For CNC Machine Operators In The Automotive Parts Manufacturing Industry

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) to explore opinions and investigate perceptions regarding essential competencies crucial for CNC machine control operators in the automotive component manufacturing industry during Industry. Furthermore, 2) Comparison of personal factors and competencies required for CNC machine operators in the automotive parts manufacturing industry. There are different opinions. Statistically significant when personal factors are gender, age, and work experience. And what is not statistically different is the level of education. Additionally, 3) Identify any relationships between personal factors and these competencies.This quantitative study involved a sample group of 391 operational-level CNC machine control operators in the automotive component manufacturing industry in Bangkok and boundary quantity. Data collection was conducted through surveys, and statistical analyses, including descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, and correlation analysis, were employed.

          The key findings include: 1) Competency Perceptions: Overall, respondents rated their opinions on the competencies necessary for CNC machine control operators in the Industry as high. 2) Significant Differences: There were noteworthy differences in opinions when comparing personal factors with the required competencies. Factors such as gender, age, education level, and work experience showed significant variances. 3) Relationship Analysis: The examination of relationships between personal factors and required competencies indicated that personal factors did not have a significant relationship with the necessary competencies. However, education level and some personal factors, including gender, age, and work experience, were significantly correlated with the required competencies.
