The development of Thai hanging adornment instructional media, small size elephant face net made of beads, for senior primary education students of Rajabopit School

Abstract

The research  aimed 1) to measure the efficiency of Thai hanging adornment instructional media, small size elephant face net made of beads for senior primary education students of Rajabopit School, 2) to appropriateness and usability of Thai hanging adornment instructional media, small size elephant face net made of beads for senior primary education of Rajabopit School and 3) to study students’ satisfaction towards Thai hanging adornment instruction media, small size elephant face net made of beads for senior primary education of Rajabopit School. The sample in the research was 24 senior primary education students of Rajabopit School, class 6/1, who are studying in the semester 1 of the 2023 academic year, art & craft subject, occupation learning strand. Instructional media performance test, appropriateness assessment, usability assessment and satisfaction questionnaire were used as the research instruments. Statistics for data analysis were E1/E2 efficiency criterion, mean, and standard deviation. The research results revealed that 1) the efficiency of the instructional media was higher than the determined criterion, the result of the assessment conducted by the teacher during the learning (E1) was 87.21 and the result of the assessment conducted by the teacher after the learning process (E2) was 90.17. It can be concluded that the efficiency of the instruction media meet the efficiency criterion of 80/80. It can be used as the instruction media for senior primary education students of Rajabopit School, 2) the assessment of overall appropriateness by experts indicated that the appropriateness of the instruction media was at a high level(\bar{X} = 4.27, S.D. = 0.655) and overall usability was at a high level (\bar{X} = 4.40,
S.D. = 0.575), and 3) students were satisfied with the instructional media at a high level
(\bar{X} = 4.41, S.D. = 0.768). When each aspect was taken into consideration, the aspect with the highest mean was content (\bar{X} = 4.51, S.D. = 0.624), followed by benefits of the instructional media (\bar{X} = 4.43, S.D. = 0.822), and the aspect with the lowest mean was the instructional media (\bar{X} = 4.31, S.D. = 0.876). To sum up, students were overall satisfied with the instructional media at a high level.
