Factors Affecting The Decision To Apply For Cooperative Membership Of Generation Y Of Saving & Credit Of Vajira Hospital Coop., Ltd.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to: 1) study internal factors of the 5 aspects affecting the decision to be member of Saving & Credit of Vajira Hospital Coop., Ltd. of Generation Y personnel 2) study the financial behavior of Generation Y personnel 3) study the relationship between internal factors of the 5 aspects of cooperatives affecting the decision to be member of Saving & Credit of Vajira Hospital Coop., Ltd. of Generation Y personnel. The primary data were obtained from questionnaires of 400 employees of Navamindradhiraj University and hospital under Medical Service Department Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. The statistics used to analyze the data are statistics, means, standard deviations and testing chi-square statistics at a statistical significance level of .05 using the all-variable input method.
The results of the study found that internal factors of the 5 aspects of the cooperative overall had the highest level. Which 4 internal factors were at highest level namely Returns, Reliability and stability, Service aspect and Welfare benefit next high level is Communication.
The most respondents were having burdened with debt, but most of those were due to bank loans for essential household consumption and minimum monthly payment on time.
The most respondent’s deposits and investment funds with bank. The relationship between internal factors of the 5 aspects of cooperatives have 3 aspects of internal factors namely  Reliability and stability, Service aspect and Returns affecting the decision to be member of Saving & Credit of Vajira Hospital Coop., Ltd. of Generation Y personnel with the statistical significance at .05 level.
