The Standards Quality of Sustainable Waterfall Tourism Destination : Thantip (357) Waterfall, Wiang Sa, Suratthani

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to 1) Assessing the potential of Than Tip (357) Waterfall's tourist attractions and 2) Plan guidelines for developing tourist attractions to meet standards. This study was mixed-methods research, which is a qualitative research format, Data were collected from focus group discussions. Tools used to assess the quality of waterfall tourist attractions it is an evaluation model that uses quality indicators of waterfall tourist attractions in 3 areas, Total 42 indicators. The Quantitative research section, Use a structured questionnaire, Select a purposive sample of tourists who use the service, A random sampling method was used. The results of the assessment of quality standards for tourist attractions in the category of waterfalls found that: the average evaluation results were 178 points with a mean of 4.21, If considered individually, it is found that: Aspects of tourism value and risk of destruction has the highest evaluation average, Next is the potential for tourism development and management respectively. As for the results of the analysis of guidelines for developing waterfall tourist attractions from users, it was found that: overall, it is at a high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that of tourism support personnel and environmental conservation and preservation are at the highest level. As for improving tourist attractions according to standards Areas and tourism resources Participation in the development of tourist attractions and tourism promotion activities are at a high level.
