Forecasting Model for Turnover by Management Process in Logistics and Supply Chains for Flower Shop Business

Abstract

The purposes of this study were 1) to study the relationship between management process in logistics and supply chains for flower shop business which were monetary effect and non-monetary effect 2) to create the predictive model for turnover by management process in logistics and supply chains for flower shop business which were monetary effect and non-monetary effect. The sampling group was the 207 flower decoration shop operators and / or sell flowers which was commercial registration by multiple regression analysis to find the forecasting factors for the turnover of the flower shop business.

The result for this study found that, industry size, location for service business affects to the turnover of the flower shop significantly and the processing of the logistics and supply chain management , customer service , transportation ,the order management process together forecasts the turnover money of the flower shop 58.7 percent. The processing of the logistics management, customer service, transportation, inventory management and purchasing order management jointly forecast the turnover which was not monetary at the percentage of 60.3 for the entrepreneurs in flower shop business in Bangkok Metropolitan.
