Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy

To maintain the standards of academic integrity and accuracy, the journal has established the following guidelines regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI:

For Authors

• Writing & Grammar Editing: The use of AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Grammarly) is permitted solely for grammar correction, language polishing, or formatting to enhance readability and ensure international standards.

• Prohibition on Content Generation: The use of AI to write the core content of the research, summarize research findings, synthesize simulated data, or generate fabricated images of experimental results is strictly prohibited.

• No AI Authorship: AI cannot be credited as an "author" or "co-author" of a manuscript. This is because AI cannot be held accountable for the accuracy, legal implications, or ethical responsibilities of the published work.

• AI Disclosure: If AI tools are utilized in any part of the writing or analysis process, authors must explicitly disclose the details of the tools used and the scope of their application in the "Acknowledgements" section or under a designated "AI Disclosure" heading within the manuscript.

For Reviewers & Editors

• It is strictly prohibited to upload manuscripts currently under review into AI systems (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) for the purpose of summarizing, synthesizing, or drafting review reports. Because these manuscripts contain confidential, unpublished information, uploading them to AI platforms could lead to data leakage and constitutes a breach of peer-review research ethics.
