The democratic political culture of the people in Choeng Doi Subdistrict Municipality Doi Saket District Chiang Mai Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the democratic political culture level of people in Choeng Doi Subdistrict Municipality. Doi Saket District Chiang Mai Province 2) Study the problems and suggestions of the people's democratic political culture This research is an exploratory research. The sampling population used in this research was 399 people living in the Choeng Doi municipality area who were eligible to vote. The statistics used in the data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation. The results showed that;

The level of democratic political culture of people in Choeng Doi Subdistrict Municipality Doi Saket District Chiang Mai Province in the picture, including 6 aspects: 1) having a sense of civic duty and self-confidence 2) The importance of dignity and equality of individuals 3) respecting the rules of democracy 4) involvement in political and administrative activities 5) optimism have trust in human beings 6) Confidence in the principles of democracy It was found that the overall level of political culture was at a high level ( = 3.98 ). Everyone in the community took part in the activities that were held in the local government. so that the people will always remember that They are part of a society that is important and democratic is being promoted in terms of content that is a true democratic principle. not in form or structure but instilling in people a way of thinking and having a democratic life
