Crisis Management System for Integrated Emerging Diseases and Emerging Diseases of Integrative in Local Administrative Organizations in Chiangmai Province

Abstract

 This research article encompasses both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to examine challenges and barriers, as well as identify key success factors to formulate comprehensive crisis management strategies for emerging and re-emerging diseases within local administrative bodies in Chiang Mai Province. The quantitative aspect involves a sample size of 400 employees from local government organizations in the province, utilizing questionnaires and statistical analysis methods such as frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and the f-test. On the other hand, the qualitative research component entails conducting in-depth interviews with key figures, including the President of the local government organization and the council president, totaling 50 individuals. Data from these interviews are analyzed using content analysis techniques.         

The study's findings revealed that the level of conditions, problems, and obstacles in crisis management during the COVID-19 outbreak situation of local administrative organizations in Chiang Mai Province was generally high. Additionally, the factors influencing the success of managing crises related to emerging and re-emerging diseases by these organizations were also found to be at a high level. Furthermore, the study identified four important strategies for managing such crises in the future. These strategies encompass four key approaches: 1) Proactive approach 2) Corrective approach 3) Preventive approach 4) Reactive approach.
