A Synthesis of Researches on Learning Management using Design Thinking in Teacher Education

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study research characteristics from research articles related to learning management using design thinking in teacher education and 2) to synthesize research related to learning management using design thinking in teacher education by analyze content techniques. The sample group was a research article on learning management using design thinking in teacher education that published in the research database ERIC - Education Resources Information Center in the year 2019-2023, 15 topics. The research tool was a summary of research characteristics. Data analysis uses frequency, percentage, and content analysis. The research results are as follows; 1) the results of the study on the characteristics of the research found that the research on learning management through design thinking made in Asia region, the most at 66.67 percent, published in 2022 at 40 percent, and using an experimental research model (Quasi-experimental) the most, accounting for 60 percent. The majority of the sample used were teacher students, accounting for 33.33 percent. For treatment in the research, the learning management activities using design thinking approach were the most used, accounting for 40 percent, and 2) the results of the synthesis of learning management by design thinking, the results showed that most of the research were able to develop the creativity of learners, accounting for 26.67 percent.
