Author Guidelines

Submission Guideline

Thank you for considering the SLSTE for the publication of your research. To ensure the smooth processing of your manuscript, please carefully follow the submission guidelines below.

Online Submission System:

To submit your manuscript, please register with the ThaiJo system and complete the checklist provided. Once completed, you may upload your manuscript to the system.

File Formatting:

We recommend submitting your manuscript in Word format, using citation management software such as EndNote or Zotero for basic reference checking. Please separate figures and tables into individual files and follow the checklist provided for further details.

Basic Preparation

To be considered for publication in the SLSTE, manuscripts must meet the following standards:

Author details: All authors should include their full name and affiliation on the cover page of the manuscript. Additionally, please include ORCiDs and social media handles (Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn) where available. Designate one author as the corresponding author with their email address displayed in the article PDF and online article. If any co-authors move affiliation during the peer-review process, the new affiliation can be given as a footnote. No changes to affiliation can be made after acceptance.

Abstract: Include an unstructured abstract of 200 words.

Graphical abstract: Optional, but recommended for providing a clear visual representation of your article. Supply in landscape format with a 2:1 aspect ratio and save as a separate file labeled "GraphicalAbstract1".

Video abstract: Optional, but may be included within 5 minutes.

Keywords: No more than 10.

Funding details: Supply all required details as follows: For single agency grants, "This work was supported by the [Funding Agency] under Grant [number xxxx]." For multiple agency grants, "This work was supported by the [Funding Agency #1] under Grant [number xxxx]; [Funding Agency #2] under Grant [number xxxx]; and [Funding Agency #3] under Grant [number xxxx]."

Disclosure statement: Acknowledge any financial or non-financial interests arising from your research. If no relevant competing interests exist, state "The authors report there are no competing interests to declare."

Data availability statement: Provide information about where the data supporting your results or analyses can be found, including the hyperlink, DOI, or other persistent identifier associated with the dataset(s).

Data deposition: Deposit any data underlying your study in a recognized data repository prior to or at the time of submission. You will be asked to provide the DOI, pre-reserved DOI, or other persistent identifier for the data set.

Supplemental online material: Include any relevant supplemental material to support your paper.

Figures: Supply high-quality figures in EPS, PS, JPEG, TIFF, or Microsoft Word (DOC or DOCX) formats at the correct size and resolution.

Tables: Present new information, and ensure that readers can interpret tables without reference to the text. Supply editable files.

Equations: Ensure that equations are editable, especially if submitting your manuscript as a Word document.

In order to ensure that your submission meets our standards for publication, please review the following checklist of required files and information:

Manuscript: Please prepare your manuscript according to our submission guidelines, which can be found on our website [insert link]. Your manuscript should be in a readable format, such as Microsoft Word, and include a title, abstract, introduction, methods, results, discussion, and references.

Figures: All figures should be included in the manuscript file, and each figure should be a separate file in high-resolution format (300 dpi or higher). Figures should be numbered and labeled appropriately within the manuscript.

Tables: All tables should be included in the manuscript file, and each table should be a separate file in Microsoft Word or Excel format. Tables should be numbered and labeled appropriately within the manuscript.

Appendix: Any supplementary materials, such as additional figures or tables, should be included as an appendix in the manuscript file.

Reference Management: If you have used EndNote for reference management, please upload your EndNote library file (.enl) as a separate file.

Survey Questionnaire: If you have used a survey questionnaire in your research, please include the full text of the questionnaire as a separate file in Microsoft Word format.

Anonymous Dataset: Any data that is not tied to individual identities should be uploaded as a separate file in Microsoft Excel format.

Structural Equation Modeling Analysis: If you have used Structural Equation Modeling analysis in your research, please ensure that the methodology is clearly described in the manuscript and the analysis code is provided as a separate file.

We strongly encourage authors to follow the principles of reproducible research, which includes sharing data and code used in the analysis. Therefore, we may ask for additional information or files to ensure the accuracy and reproducibility of the research.

Thank you for your submission, and we look forward to reviewing your work.
