Promoting students' morality and ethics in basic education institutions Under the jurisdiction of the Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study the conditions and problems of promoting students’ morality and ethics in basic education institutions, and 2) compare the conditions and problems of promoting students’ morality and ethics in basic education institutions under the Office of the Primary Education Area 2, Khon Kaen. The sample group used in this research was 140 school administrators and 317 teachers, totaling 457 people. The instrument used for data collection was a rating scale questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.88. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, mean, percentage, standard deviation, t-test (Independent sample), and F-test (One way ANOVA), and Scheffe’s paired test. The results of the study found that 1) The conditions of promoting students’ morality and ethics in basic education institutions under the Office of the Primary Education Area 2, Khon Kaen, were implemented at a high level overall and in each aspect. 2) Problems of promoting students’ morality and ethics in basic education institutions Under the Office of the Primary Education Area, Khon Kaen Area 2, overall and in each aspect, there were few problems. 3) The results of the comparison of the conditions and problems of promoting morality and ethics in students in basic education institutions under the Office of the Primary Education Area, Khon Kaen Area 2, classified by position, were not different overall. 4) The comparison of the conditions and problems of promoting morality and ethics in students in basic education institutions under the Office of the Primary Education Area, Khon Kaen Area 2, classified by the size of the educational institution, overall, there were significant differences at the 0.01 level.
