Leadership of Local Executives in Preventing the Epidemic of Coronavirus Disease 2019 in Wang Hong Subdistrict, Mueang Phrae District, Phrae Province

Abstract
The purposes of this research article were 1) to study the leadership level of local executives in preventing the epidemic of Coronavirus disease 2019 in Wang Hong Subdistrict, Mueang Phrae District, Phrae Province; and 2) to study problems, obstacles, and suggestions regarding the leadership of local executives in preventing the epidemic of Coronavirus disease 2019 in Wang Hong Subdistrict, Mueang Phrae District, Phrae Province. This was a mixed methods research. Quantitative research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to a sample of 356 people. The population was obtained by sampling from Taro Yamane's formula. Qualitative research used in-depth interviews with 9 informants. The results of the research found that 1) the level of leadership of local executives in preventing the epidemic of Coronavirus disease 2019 in Wang Hong Subdistrict, Mueang Phrae District, Phrae Province according to Sappurisadhamma 7 found that overall was at a high level (=3.90, S.D.=0.62). The level of leadership of local executives in preventing the epidemic of Coronavirus disease 2019 in Wang Hong Subdistrict, Mueang Phrae District, Phrae Province, 4 areas, found that overall was at a high level (
= 3.71, S.D. = 0.56); and 2) problems and obstacles found that 1) Wang Hong Subdistrict in terms of managing Coronavirus disease 2019 still had no knowledge and skills in performing work well enough; 2) some people did not follow the measures in preventing epidemic that caused other people nearby to become infected and suffer. Suggestions found that 1) training should be provided for leaders in terms of planning and develop the village more regularly by arranging personnel and lecturers from the central area who had the knowledge to perform more duties and people should be forced to strictly follow disease prevention measures.
