Abstract

The food and beverage industry in Thailand is one of the rapidly growing sectors and plays an essential role in the country’s economy. Changes in consumer behavior, particularly their increasing focus on health and sustainability, have driven businesses in this industry to adapt quickly. This is especially evident in the development of products that cater to health-conscious consumers, such as clean food, vegetarian food, and organic food, which have gained popularity over the past few years. Additionally, there has been continuous growth in the online food delivery business, responding to consumers' demand for convenience and speed, particularly in the digital era where technology plays a crucial role in the operation of the food and beverage industry.The trends and changes in the food and beverage business in Thailand include the rise of a health-conscious and environmentally aware consumer base, businesses adapting by developing health-focused and sustainable products and menus, as well as utilizing online platforms to enhance service convenience and expand market reach. At the same time, challenges faced by businesses include managing production and transportation costs, which have increased due to fluctuations in raw material and fuel prices, as well as adapting to diverse and unpredictable consumer behaviors. Opportunities for business development include the growing market for health-conscious and sustainable food products, which businesses can use as a channel to differentiate themselves from competitors by offering products that are not only good for health but also environmentally friendly. The development of new innovations in production and services, such as the use of automation and modern online management systems, is also a crucial aspect that will help businesses improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
