Abstract

Building transparency and trust from society in police management within the justice process is a key factor that impacts public confidence in the legal system and the justice process as a whole. When society trusts the police force and perceives that they operate with transparency and fairness, confidence in law-and-order increases, leading to more effective law enforcement and a reduction in societal conflicts or misconduct. Creating transparency and trust requires collaboration between the police and the community, as well as the use of modern technology to monitor and track police operations. When the public receives clear information about police work, they feel assured that the actions of officers are not distorted or arbitrary. Using technologies such as body cameras for police officers, daily work reports, or the disclosure of operational data can further enhance transparency in police processes. Additionally, promoting external oversight by independent organizations or impartial committees helps to build greater public confidence. Thus, transparent and fair police management within the justice system is key to building trust from society, which, in turn, strengthens the justice system and enhances the effectiveness of law enforcement. Collaborative efforts between the police and the community, such as good communication, clear information sharing, and involvement in monitoring and evaluating police performance, are crucial in establishing long-term transparency and trust in the justice process.
