The Factors Affecting the Working Efficiency of Personnel in Laem Chabang City Municipality, Chonburi Province

Abstract
This research aims to 1) study the level of work performance efficiency, organizational internal factors, and work motivation; 2) compare opinions on the work performance efficiency of personnel classified by personal factors; and 3) examine the factors affecting the work performance efficiency of personnel under the municipality of Laem Chabang, Si Racha District, Chonburi Province. The sample size was determined using the Taro Yamane formula, resulting in 311 individuals. Data were collected using a 5-level assessment questionnaire and analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, t-test, F-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis at a significance level of 0.05. The study results found that 1) overall, work performance efficiency, organizational internal factors, and work motivation were at a high level; 2) personal factors, including gender, age, type of personnel, length of employment, and monthly income, did not result in differences in work performance efficiency, but the level of education significantly affected the quality of work performance; 3) all seven organizational internal factors explained 51.5% of the variance in performance, with significant factors including capability (β = 0.379), organizational values (β = 0.362), and strategy (β = 0.299). The five work motivation factors explained 66.8% of the variance, with significant factors including work achievement, characteristics of creative work, and career advancement.
