Factors Affecting Operational Efficiency of The Life Insurance Waste Bank Groups in Bang Kruai District, Nonthaburi Province

Abstract

This study aims to 1) examine the level of internal factors and the operational efficiency of the life insurance waste bank group, 2) compare the operational efficiency of the life insurance waste bank group based on personal factors, 3) investigate the internal factors affecting the operational efficiency of the life insurance waste bank group, and 4) propose guidelines for the sustainable development of the life insurance waste bank operations. The sample consists of 341 members of the life insurance waste bank, with data analyzed using descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, f-test, and multiple regression analysis. The research findings reveal that: 1) the overall level of internal factors is high, and the overall operational efficiency is at the highest level, 2) when comparing based on personal factors, it was found that gender, age, education level, occupation, income, membership duration, and position in the group significantly affect operational efficiency at the 0.05 level, 3) the five internal factors, including management, member participation, support from external agencies, community environment, and operational practices, together predict 55.2% of the operational efficiency, with management having the highest influence (β = 0.342), and 4) key development guidelines include developing a management system suitable for each member group, creating diverse incentives, enhancing knowledge and skills in line with members' education and experience levels, and establishing sustainability through a monitoring and evaluation system and building cooperative networks.
