Abstract
The purposes of this research are to 1) study the conditions and problems in promoting desirable characteristics of students in basic educational institutions, 2) compare the conditions and problems in promoting desirable characteristics of students in basic educational institutions. Under the jurisdiction of the Maha Sarakham Primary Educational Service Area Office, Area 2, classified according to educational institution status and size. The sample group includes educational institution administrators. and teachers in basic educational institutions Under the jurisdiction of the Maha Sarakham Primary Educational Service Area Office, Area 2, using stratified random sampling (Stratified Random Sampling). The research instrument was a questionnaire. Statistics used in data analysis include percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test (Independent samples t-test), One-way ANOVA test (F-test) and test for individual differences. Pairs by Scheffe's method. The results of the research found that 1) Conditions for promoting desirable characteristics of students in basic educational institutions. Overall, there was the highest level of compliance. Problems of promoting desirable characteristics of students in basic educational institutions. Overall, promotion has minimal problems. 2) Results of comparing conditions and problems in promoting desirable characteristics of students in basic educational institutions. Categorized by status and size of educational institution, overall picture is different. Statistically significant at the .01 level.
