(The Department of Elderly Person [Online]) which all the most of monks got sickness by Non-communicable Diseases: NCDs (Department of Mental Health, SSS: [Online])found that most total 5 number mean hypercholesterolemia, blood pressure, diabetes, nephritis, knee degeneration and the monks deseed with NCDs. All these deseed concern effect economic such as personal care and reactivate for monks. The more expenditure for this case then effects for join Buddhist activity, because of health problem too. This was qualitative research, studying through documents and field by interviewing 25 key informants. Data were conducted and presented in narrative form.</p> <p>The results revealed that: 1) Vipassana meditation practicing had Principles and practices according to the Tripitaka, Commentaries, and Pakaranavises. It aligned with the practices of Theravada Buddhism, 2) The process of mind empowerment was a single systematic path, teaching and test emotions individually, 3) The primary point for analysis of mind empowerment was mental empowerment. The practitioners could develop mind empowerment by themselves, having more senses and stronger mind. For the secondary points, there were six of them: (1) Mental empowerment through the Balas: it was found that the most of practitioners were led by faith which was then followed by preservance, mindfulness, concentration and wisdom; (2) expectation on the practicing: it was found that most of the practitioners expected happiness and peace; (3) methods and experience of practicing: for the methods, they used perseverance on observing their bodies, feelings, mind, and mental objects. For the experience of the practicing, it was varied in terms of physical, mental, emotional, and intellectual health; (4) mental empowerment’s effect on physical and mental health, it helped cure some diseases and enhanced energy and strength. This is mixed-methods research.</p> <p>The research results found that: 1) the level of community participation based on the principle of non-perishableness to promote the conservation of the Hok Peng worship of Phra That Chae Haeng tradition was overall at a high level. 2) Comparing the community participation in promoting the conservation of the Hok Peng worship of Phra That Chae Haeng tradition classified by gender, age, education, and income, there were differences in the participation in promoting the conservation of the Hok Peng worship of Phra That Chae Haeng tradition, so the research hypothesis was rejected. As for people with different occupations, the participation in promoting the conservation of the Hok Peng worship of Phra That Chae Haeng tradition was significantly different at a statistical level of 0.05, so the research hypothesis was accepted. This was mixed methods research. Data was collected from a sample of 363 people. Descriptive data analysis used frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The relationship was analyzed using Pearson's correlation coefficient. In-depth interviews were conducted with 9 key informants. Data was analyzed using content summary techniques to present guidelines.</p> <p>The results showed that the overall quality of working life of personnel under the Nan Provincial Public Health Office was at a high level. There was a moderately positive relationship between the principles of Iddhipatthamma and the quality of working life of the personnel (r = 0.527) at a statistical significance level of 0.01. Regarding the Buddhist integration to promote the quality of working life based on the Factors of Accomplishment, it was found that applying the principles of Iddhipatthamma to enhance work efficiency and improve work performance necessitates interrelating the prominent principles of each factor. This will lead to efficient work performance of the personnel and greatly benefit the organization in developing its personnel's work capabilities. The sample group was 130 people. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis are frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The analysis of mean differences for pairs was done using Scheffe's method (Post Hoc).</p> <p>The research results found that: 1) the motivation data for practicing Dhamma of Buddhists at Wat Thong Niam were at a high level overall (= 3.86). When considering each aspect, it was found that the need for happiness and peace of mind had the highest mean (= 4.33), followed by the aspect of accommodation (= 4.18), and the need for security and safety had the lowest mean (= 3.09), respectively. 2) The results of the comparison of the motivation data for practicing Dhamma of Buddhists at Wat Thong Niam with different genders, ages, education levels, and experiences in practicing Dhamma showed that the motivation for practicing Dhamma of Buddhists at Wat Thong Niam was not significantly different at the .05 level. 3) Suggestions for the motivation for practicing Dhamma of Buddhists at Wat Thong Niam regarding the use of communication tools during the practice, the number of monks who are lecturers is not sufficient for the operation and there is not a variety, the installation of air conditioners in the practice area that make the practitioners comfortable during the practice because the temperature is not suitable enough, and the preparation of the practitioners' accommodation and bathrooms are not yet complete.</p>2024-12-31T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Thammawathttps://so09.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/tmwj/article/view/4956Pu Chans’ Roles in Promoting Buddhist Activities Mae Charim District, Nan Province2024-08-21T15:08:07+07:00Thanakon Kwanginthanakonkwaengin@gmail.comThitiporn Sasomthanakonkwaengin@gmail.comThanaphon Kwanginthanakonkwaengin@gmail.com<p>The purpose of this article was: 1) to study the history and importances of Pu Chans, 2) to study the qualifications and roles of Pu Chans, and 3) to analyze the roles of Pu Chans in promoting Buddhist activities in Mae Charim District, Nan Province. It was qualitative research by obtaining data from documents and the field study by interviewing 25 key informants. Data were analyzed by means of content analysis.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p> <p>The research revealed that: 1) Pu Chans in Mae Charim District had existed since the Buddhists settled down here. 2) Pu Chans have played important roles in performing Buddhist rituals, as coordinators between monks. They were once ordained as a monk. They must have deep respects in the Triple Gem, bearing good characters, having knowledge and understanding in the sequences of rituals, and ability to coordinate between the host and the monks. The sample group is 359 users the service of Tha Pa Subdistrict Municipality, Ko Kha District, Lampang Province.
