Community organization development councils: Curriculum Innovation Training on Competency Development of Tambon Community Leaders in Lampang Province in 2020 under the COVID-19 Pandemic Situation

Abstract

Tambon community organization councils has a role to support the development of community organizations and the community organization network Therefore, in order to strengthen the working group which will lead to community development in all aspects, the community organization of Lampang Province has prepared a curriculum to develop the capacity of the community leaders at the Tambon level, Lampang Province, 2020 Under the situation of Covid- 19, by determining the target number of 82 Tambons from 103 Tambons and training in 25 Tambon. The curriculum has been adapted to suit the context of the community. The goal of training participants can create a plan of their own community organization council. Using simple 4 step planning techniques. Step 1: Review lessons, Step 2: Analyze the current situation, Step 3: Look at the imagery of the Tambon Community Organizations Council wishing to see the future and define vision, Step 4: Create a project plan. In which all 4 steps that process relies on visual linking techniques. This is an innovative program that allows participants to take part in the workshop which can bring experience and learning come together to share ideas. The result is success in development of potential community leaders.
