Development of an Electronic Book on the Propagation of Buddhism in ASEAN of Mathayomsuksa 2 students at Wat Sai Nuea Witthaya School, Mueang Nakhon Sawan District, Nakhon Sawan Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research article were 1) to develop an electronic book on the Propagation of Buddhism in ASEAN of Mathayomsukka 2 students to have efficiency according to the criteria of 80/80; 2) to compare learning achievement before studying and after studying with an electronic book of Mathayomsuksa 2 students; and 3) to study student satisfaction with an electronic book on the Propagation of Buddhism in ASEAN of Mathayomsuksa 2 students. It was an experimental research: One Group Pre-test Post-test Design. The population used in this research was 30 Mathayomsuksa 2 students at Wat Sai Nuea Witthaya School, Mueang Nakhon Sawan District, Nakhon Sawan Province, semester 1, academic year 2022. The research tools included 1) an electronic book on the Propagation of Buddhism in ASEAN, 2) a pre-study and post-study achievement test on the Propagation of Buddhism in ASEAN, 3) a questionnaire on student satisfaction towards learning with an electronic book on the Propagation of Buddhism in ASEAN. Statistics used in data analysis were mean, standard deviation. The results of the research found that 1) the results of the development of an electronic book on the Propagation of Buddhism in ASEAN for Mathayomsukas 2 students found that it had effectiveness according to the criteria (E1) 85.09/(E2) 81.56, which was in line with the criteria 80/80; 2) the results of comparing learning achievement before studying and after studying with an electronic book on the Propagation of Buddhism in ASEAN of Mathayomsuksa 2 students was higher than before;  and 3) the results of the study of student satisfaction with an electronic book on the Propagation of Buddhism in ASEAN of Mathayomsuksa 2 students were in the criteria that overall the students were most satisfied with a mean of 4.53 and a standard deviation of 0.11.
