The Development of STAD Learning Packages in the Sufficiency and Economic Development of Thai Used for Grade 11 Students at Taphanhin School Taphanhin District Phichit Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research article were 1) to study the effectiveness of the learning packages by STAD technique on Thai monetary and fiscal policy and economic development of Matthayomsuksa 5 students of Taphan Hin School according to 80/80 criteria; 2) to compare learning achievements before and after learning by using the learning packages by STAD technique; and 3) to study the satisfaction of students towards learning with the learning packages by STAD technique. It was an experimental research. The sample group used in this research was 30 Matthayomsuksa 5 students, Semester 1, academic year 2022 of Taphan Hin School obtained by simple random sampling using the classroom as a random unit. The tools used in this research were: 5 sets of the learning packages by STAD technique, 30 items of pre- and post-learning achievement tests, and student satisfaction questionnaires towards learning with the learning packages by STAD technique on monetary and fiscal policy and economic development of Thailand. It was an estimation scale of 10 items. For data analysis, the researcher analyzed statistical data  by determining the effectiveness of the learning packages by STAD technique by using percentages, comparing the pre-learning and post-learning achievements with the learning packages by STAD technique by using Paired-Sample t-test and determination of students' satisfaction with the use of the learning packages by STAD technique by means and standard deviation. The results of the research were as follows: 1) the results of the development of the learning packages by STAD technique on Thai monetary and fiscal policy and economic development of Matthayomsuksa 5 students found that the overall efficiency (E₁/E₂) was 92.47/90.73; 2) achievement comparison test Results with the learning packages by STAD Technique found that the students' learning achievement after learning was higher than before learning at the statistical significance level of .05; and 3) the results of the study of satisfaction in using the learning packages by STAD Technique found that the overall satisfaction of the students was at the highest level.
