The Political Leadership of Local Administration Officer in Community Development of Hat Kruat Sub-Distict Mueang Uttaradit District, Uttaradit Province

Abstract
The purposes of this research article were 1) to study the level of leadership; 2) to study the relationship between Buddhadhamma and local administration officers in community development; and 3) to study problems, obstacles, and suggestions for leadership approaches of local administration officers in community development of Hat Kruat Subdistrict, Mueang Uttaradit District, Uttaradit Province. It was a mixed methods research. For quantitative research, the research method was used to survey the sample group used in the research. Sample group used in research were people aged 18 years and over who lived in Hat Kruat Subdistrict, Mueang Uttaradit district, Uttaradit Province by means of random sampling of 7,535 people, the population was obtained from random sampling of 380 people and qualitative research of 9 persons used content analysis techniques to complement the context. The results of the research found that 1) leadership according to Brahmavihara of the leadership of local administration officers in the community development of Hat Kruat Subdistrict, Mueang Uttaradit District, Uttaradit Province, overall, the average in all aspects was at the middle level (= 2.96, S.D. = 0.73). As for the leadership of local administration officers in the community development of Hat Kruat Subdistrict, Mueang Uttaradit District, Uttaradit Province, overall, the average in all aspects was at a moderate level (
=3.13, S.D. = 0.71); 2) relationship between Brahmavihara and the leadership of local administration officers in the community development of Hat Kruat Subdistrict, Mueang Uttaradit District, Uttaradit Province as a whole had a positive relationship at a relatively high level (r= .799**) with acceptable statistical significance; 3) problems and obstacles was found that local administration officers have not received development that met their job responsibilities, so it can not give advice on how to solve problems when people in the community encountered problems. There was no integrated teamwork with many abilities in giving advice.
