Collaborative Network for the Sustainable Prevention of Student Dropouts

Abstract
This academic article aimed to present a collaborative network for a sustainable prevention of student dropouts. It utilized the student council mechanism as a key component in school development, involving student councils, external collaborative networks, and the community in preventing and solving problems within their communities. Building a collaborative network for educational development was a management approach at both the district education office and school levels, ensuring all parties were involved. This began with network members jointly defining goals, objectives, and goals for educational development; creating and developing actionable plans; and promoting the roles and decision-making processes of each group. The collaborative network continuously developed communication processes, improved its structure, and enhanced its resources and funding. The district education office played a leading role in policy, fostering collaboration, developing capabilities, supervising, monitoring, evaluating, and extracting lessons learned to ensure students were cared for, re-enter the education system, maintain positive attitudes towards school, and develop desirable characteristics, discipline, and appropriate behavior.
