Enhancing Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes on Political Integrity among Primary School Students in Nong Yai Da Subdistrict, Thap Than District, Uthai Thani Province

Abstract
The purposes of this research article were 1) to study the level of knowledge and attitudes; 2) to develop communication skills; and 3) to evaluate the achievement of knowledge, skills, and attitude enhancement on the principle of political integrity among primary school students. This was a one group pre-test post-test experimental design. The sample consisted of 30 primary school students in Nong Yai Da Subdistrict, Thap Than District, Uthai Thani Province, during the second semester of the 2024 academic year, selected using purposive sampling. The instruments used included a knowledge enhancement package, an achievement test, a behavioral observation form, and an attitude questionnaire. Statistical analyses included percentages, mean (), standard deviation (S.D.), and t-test. The research findings showed that 1) in terms of results of the study on knowledge and attitudes, students had an average post-test knowledge score of 25.73 points and an overall attitude level of moderate (
= 3.50, S.D. = 0.47). Considering each aspect, knowledge and understanding were at a high level (
= 3.62), while behavior and feelings were at a moderate level; 2) in the aspect of outcomes of communication skills development from the speech activity, students' overall communication skills were at a good to very good level, with strengths in preparation, tone of voice, and content delivery. However, further development was needed in terms of eye contact and the use of natural body language; and 3) the effectiveness of knowledge, skill, and attitude enhancement on political integrity showed that students' pre-test scores had a mean (
= 20.80, S.D. = 1.58), and their post-test scores had a mean (
= 25.73, S.D. = 1.60). A comparison between the pre-test and post-test scores revealed that the post-test scores were significantly higher than the pre-test scores at the .05 statistical significance level.
