The Cultivation of Democratic Political Ideology among Military Students at the Military Students Training Center of the 31st Army Region, | Nakhon Sawan Province.

Abstract
The purposes of this research article were 1) to study the level of democratic political ideology cultivation among military students at the Military Students Training Center of the 31st Army Region; 2) to analyze the relationship between Bhavana 4 and the cultivation of democratic political ideology among military students; and 3) to propose guidelines for cultivating democratic political ideology among military students based on Bhavana 4. A mixed-methods research approach was used. Quantitative data was collected from 353 military students in years 1 to 5 using a questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.984. Descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, were analyzed, along with Pearson correlation coefficient. Qualitative data were collected through in-depth interviews with 18 key informants, and analyzed using content analysis. The research results found that 1) the level of cultivating democratic political ideology among military students at the Military Students Training Center of the 31st Army Region based on Bhavana 4 was high overall (= 4.23, S.D.= 0.67"), and the level of cultivating democratic political ideology among military students based on the basic principles of democracy was also high overall (
= 4.19, S.D.= 0.59"); 2) the analysis of the relationship between Bhavana and cultivating democratic political ideology among military students showed a very high positive correlation (r = .796**); and 3) the guidelines for developing the cultivating democratic political ideology among military students at the Military Students Training Center of the 31st Army Region based on Bhavana 4 found that (1) in terms of Kayabhavana, volunteerism and social service should be promoted; (2) In terms of Silabhavana, discipline and responsibility should be cultivated; (3) on Cittabhavana side, it should promote acceptance of differing opinions and harmonious coexistence; and (4) in terms of Panyabhavana, knowledge of democracy and critical thinking should be developed
