Development of Online Lessons on Everyday Law of Matthayom Suksa 1 Students at Wat Chom Khiri Nakprot Municipal School, Mueang Nakhon Sawan District, Nakhon Sawan Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research article were 1) to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of an online lesson on everyday law of Matthayom Suksa 1 students to meet the 80/80 effectiveness criterion; 2) to compare the learning achievement of Matthayom Suksa 1 students before and after learning with the online lesson on everyday law; and 3) to study the satisfaction of Matthayom Suksa 1 students with the online lesson on everyday law. The sample for this research consisted of Matthayom Suksa 1/1 students in the first semester of the 2023 academic year, selected using simple random sampling with the classroom as the sampling unit. The research instruments included 1) an online lesson on everyday law with an Index of Content Validity (IOC) between 0.80-1.00 and the quality level is at the highest level; 2) an learning achievement test on everyday law with an IOC between 0.60-1.00; and 3) a questionnaire on student satisfaction with the online lesson on everyday law with an Index of Content Validity (IOC) ranged from 0.80 to 1.00. The statistical methods used for data analysis included mean (), standard deviation (S.D.), and statistical tests. The research findings revealed that 1) the developed online lesson on everyday law of Matthayom Suksa 1 students comprised five topics: (1) the importance of Personal Rights Protection Law, (2) Child Law, (3) Education Law, (4) Consumer Rights Protection Law, and (5) Copyright Law, were effective according to the criteria (E1) 88.60/ (E2) 82.25, which aligned with the established standard of 80/80; 2) a comparison of pre- and post-test scores of Matthayom Suksa 1 students showed that post-test scores were significantly higher than pre-test scores at the 0.05 statistical significance level; 3) overall, Matthayom Suksa 1 students’ satisfaction with the online lessons on everyday law was at the highest level (= 4.57, S.D. = 0.50).
