Development of Cartoon Lessons on Civic Duties of Prathomsuksa 5 Students at Nakhon Sawan Panyanukul School, Mueang Nakhon Sawan District, Nakhon Sawan Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research article were 1) to study the effectiveness of cartoon lessons on Civic Duties, it had effectiveness according to the criteria of 70/70; 2) to compare learning achievement before and after learning with cartoon lessons on Civic Duties; and 3) to study student satisfaction towards learning with cartoon lessons on Civic Duties of Prathomsuksa 5 students at Nakhon Sawan Panyanukul School, Mueang Nakhon Sawan District, Nakhon Sawan Province. This was a single group experimental research with pre-post testing. The population used in the research was 14 Prathomsuksa 5 students at Nakhon Sawan Panyanukul School, semester 1, academic year 2022. The tools used in the research included 5 sets of cartoon lessons on Civic Duties, a pre-class learning achievement test and after studying, a total of 30 questions, and a questionnaire on student satisfaction towards learning with cartoon lessons on Civic Duties. It was an estimation scale with 10 items. Statistical data were analyzed by finding the effectiveness of cartoon lessons on Civic Duties using a formula for calculating the E₁/E₂ efficiency value. Comparison of learning achievement before and after learning with cartoon lessons on Civic Duties used basic statistics, percentages, mean, and finding student satisfaction towards learning with cartoon lessons on Civic Duties, mean, and standard deviations. The results of the research found that 1) the results of the development of cartoon lessons on Civic Duties of Prathomsuksa 5 students at Nakhon Sawan Panyanukul School, Mueang Nakhon Sawan District, Nakhon Sawan Province found that the overall efficiency (E₁/E₂) was equal to 76.79/72.59 2). The results of the comparative test of learning achievement with cartoon lessons on Civic Duties of Prathomsuksa 5 students at Nakhon Sawan Panyanukul School, Mueang Nakhon Sawan District, Nakhon Sawan Province found that the learning achievement of students after studying was higher than before studying; and 3) students' satisfaction towards learning management with cartoon lessons on Civic Duties of Prathomsuksa 5 students at Nakhon Sawan Panyanukul School, Mueang Nakhon Sawan District, Nakhon Sawan Province found that overall student satisfaction was at the highest level.
