<p>The purposes of this research were to study and to compare desirable characteristics of school administrators in 21^stcentury under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Kanchanaburi, classified by school sizes different. The research design is quantitative research, the research framework is the concept of desirable characteristics of school administrators in the 21st century. The samples consisted of 309 teachers under the schools of The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Kanchanaburi, obtained by stratified random sampling. The research instrument, questionnaire with content validity between 0.67–1.00, the reliability at 0.96. The data were analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation, one-way analysis of variance, and pair difference test by Scheffe’s method. Statistical significance level at 0.05.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The results of the study were as follows:</p> <ol> <li>The desirable characteristics of school administrators in 21^stcentury under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Kanchanaburi was overall and in each individual aspect at a high level, ranking in the order as follows: morality, system management, academic aspect, society and community, self-management and management</li> <li>The comparison result of the desirable characteristics of school administrators in 21^stcentury under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Kanchanaburi classified by school sizes different, overall and in each individual were not different.</li> </ol>
